We aren't really given a timeline of events, really. Rick and Carl could have been walking a lot longer than a day or so, and then stumbled upon the neighborhood.

Is any one in the group originally from the area near the prison? That could explain why no one knew about the train tracks ...

They were a bunch of no-name characters who they could get rid of. Nothing more, nothing less.

And if they had given some backstory to one or two of those people on the bus and killed them, people would have been howling as well.

    No-win with some people.

That is a very popular comic book trick, to give a character a moment or some history just before you kill the character off. Do it well and it still works, even if is done too often.

There is definitely no pleasing some people, but I get the argument that the show could simply be a lot better.

That said, I disagree with Ty. I like that the characters keep fucking up. With the exception of too many people being good shots, they are all very flawed and I think that is a strength in the series, not a weakness.

That guy soon turns and, IIRC, winds up bursting from the shrubs and grabs Beth from behind with his hands on her shoulders. She's wearing a tank top. ALL the effin' zombie has to do is lean in with his big bucket head and take a bite, but nooooo, he continues to grapple just long enough that Darryl can put him down.

I can suspend disbelief when seeing countless head stabbings in which the skull is no tougher than melon rind, but that walker deserved to dine based on who he caught and how. Would have saved us from further bad acting, too, by the gal who plays "Beth."

Yeah, that was the same guy/zombie.

It also bugged me how Beth, with large knife in hand, just curled up and screamed when grabbed by the walker. She has a knife in her hand. Perhaps she should use it. Again, I would expect the people that have lived in this world to have better survival instincts than the helpless women in awful horror movies.

This is why I always appreciated Shane and the now-darker Carol. They realize that tough calls and swift action have to be made to survive. They cut through the bullshit and pretense and are concerned with one thing: survival.

Ty, just quit watching TWD and switch over to HBO's True Detective.

It truly is the best thing on TV right now, as was stated above.

How has no one been scratched by a zombie since season one? I can't play basketball for 10 minutes without getting scratched. I know it is hot out, but if I was in a place where a scratch equaled death, I would wear long sleeves and furnish some sort of cover for my hands and neck. I would walk around god damn football pads on. All day.

It's on HBO. There's almost always boobs on their shows.

I haven't watched the show but I have scene one scene that happens to have the best on-screen nudity of all time. :)

Oh yeah. I watched Talking Dead too. She is phenomenal. Way better than a 6.
