    Crazy Cheese!

Yeah, that's about all I've got. Didn't particularly care for last night's episode. I think perhaps they are relying far too much on comic fans being excited to see Abraham.

In an interview Sunday with Andrew Lincoln (Rick) he mentioned it's been a year and a half of time. (Season 2 "Hanging on the Farm/The Endless Search for Sophia" seemed like years by itself).

I'll agree, a "slow" episode, and yes, I was telling my wife more about what "could" happen (via "that other storyline") than actually caring about the show.
Although, having Rick trapped by the post-zombie world's version of the "Sons of Anarchy" was suspenceful.
I will point out..that the guy that was supposed to be taking a shit before he was killed had 1) his pants all the way up and zipped and 2) the toilet seat was down, fuzzy cover included (poor form TWD...poor form).

I noticed the same thing and had to laugh.

We learned in this episode that Glen was not a reporter before the world went to shit, or - at best - he was a sideline reporter - when he missed the obvious follow-up question to the statement: "This is Dr. Eugene Porter, and knows exactly what caused this mess."

"So, um, yeah … what happened?" should have been response.

EDIT: I forgot, he did ask and Porter's response is that it's classified. A bullshit answer and Glenn was right to walk. But I'd probably have tried harder to get it out of him. "Fuck classified, the government fell. The more people who know now, the better off we are. Tell me or I walk." Something to that effect.

Clothes are another issue. They can wash them if they're in a controlled environment with access to water, like the prison, but how do they keep clothes intact? As much as they run through the woods, dive on the ground, etc., they ought to be tougher on clothes than an army of caffeine-fueled 5-year-olds. There ought to be rips and tears in most of their clothes (along with scraped knees, bruises and other lingering, minor injuries), precipitating the need to constantly raid clothing stores. You can only sew something so much.
Instead, their clothes are a little grimy on occasion, but otherwise fine. And they seem to be wearing the same outfits they have since Season 1.

I did like the tip of the cap to the comic when Rick put on the fur-lined jacket near the end.

So no love (or hate) for tonight's episode? I thought it was kinda shitty until Daryl's breakdown, which made it worth it for me. Very slow episode, too slow, and I'm officially at the point where I want the group back together.

The Walking Dead is trying to set a record for most bottle episodes in one season.

I'm watching Walking Dead right now and Normal and the woman who plays Beth are awesome but this comedian guy is a f**king train wreck. Don't know who he is and hope to never see him again.

I want the group back together too. Daryl and Beth are compelling characters but to focus an entire episode on them is too much.

Agreed. At the very least, they should have split it between them and another one of the smaller groups.

And I think the comedian on Talking Dead was JB Smoove, though it is tough to tell because the next funny thing I hear him say will be the first.

Yeah, at the first part of the episode I kept waiting for them to switch over to another part of the group and maybe go back and forth. I like the concept of the group trying to survive together. I actually don't care for the gore but I like the concept of people trying to survive in a post-apocalyptic world. That can make for a great story and this series has shown plenty of that.
