    Boring.

And I thought JB was funny, but being succinct has never been his thing.

JB was atrocious. The only positive thing about his appearance is I now know of at least one so-called "professional comedian" who is less funny than Kevin Hart. And I didn't think that was possible.

He was annoying. I usually like Talking Dead, but I turned it off during the second segment.

Of course, part of that was the episode itself. It didn't really inspire much conversation because it was boring. I guess Darryl's revelation was supposed to be a big deal, but that's pretty much what I thought he had been. He was a guy who found himself after things went to hell.

The only moment worth a damn was when he blamed himself. Here is this guy who had pretty much been a waste all his life, but just as he started to really believe in himself, it all fell apart with the assault on the prison.

I agree. The Darryl reveal was not a big deal. His life was exactly what I assumed it was. The only thing close to surprising was that he said he'd never been in jail.

The episode was boring. The after-show would've been boring without JB Smoove.

I've watched maybe four or five of these after-shows now. I think I'm giving up on them.
They're not interesting. The closest thing to entertaining that I've seen was Gaffigan, and the actress kept stepping on his bits.

Also, I really like the Mountain Goats, but these little musical segments really stink.

    Worst episode ever.

Horrible-actress "Beth" wanted to get drunk for the first time. BFD. Darryl was a white-trash little brother to Merle. BFD.

Sick of "Beth's" cow eyes, chipmunk voice, obliviousness to real threats. Royal pain in the ass. They burn down a dump of a house and flip it the bird. Ooooh, rebels!

And the actress was just as annoying on the after-show.

Finding out Darryl was a pre-Zombie slacker was like Ellen DeGeneres coming out.

    Or Anderson Cooper.

    Or Brian Boitano.

    Or Tom Daley.

This show is going nowhere. I stand by my criticisms from a few weeks ago. If they need to stretch crap like this out over multiple episodes, the writers have no coherent concept of where they're going with this.

It does seem to have jumped the zombie shark.

I wouldn't argue that the past couple episodes have been slow but I think to say the show has jumped the shark is still a bit premature. If they follow the source material, there's a lot of cool things happening that should make for interesting television. I wonder if they will though.

Thing is ... I don't care about the source material. I care about having a decent hour of entertainment. If it takes them a gazillion episodes to get to the point ...

No, I agree with you. I'm just saying the material is there for the show to pick up again.
I don't mind a couple of slower episodes to re-establish everything and reset the characters but things need to pick up next week and for the remainder of the season.
