I love how many people hate this show but still watch it. The whole "I've invested so much time into it" thing comes across as "I like to troll things that other people like, so I'm still watching so I can bitch about it." I can see that explanation for shows like "How I Met Your Mother" that are near their end. For something like "The Walking Dead," which could go for a while still, hanging around if you haven't liked it for the last season and a half seems kinda pointless.

Sure, there are issues. Yes, it drags at times. So does the damn comic. The writer of the comic heads up the show. "Character development" issues with little else to them are a big part of the comic. Hell, you can go three or four issues sometimes without anything horribly shocking, just small movements toward something bigger if you even get that. Episodes like that are going to be part of the show, too. If you don't like them, this isn't going to be your thing.

What's frustrating about The Walking Dead is it pulls me back just enough every time it want to quit.

I will say this, next week's episode looks awesome.

Out in the open, thick fog, hardly any ammo etc. Shit just got tense.

Like playing Silent Hill for the first time tense.

I think this one very well could bring the interest level back up for some of you.

I've watched three full seasons and 12 of 16 episodes this year, that's why I'm still watching.
I don't think that's hard to understand. There are only four episodes left, so I'm sticking around to see if the show gets interesting again.

    But right now it's boring.
Will I watch Season 5? Depends what happens in these last four episodes. If they're like the past four episodes, probably not going to pick up again next year.

I get that. But there have been some people that seem to say this every season. Really, like I said, it's a lot like the comics. They'll go a few issues without anything major, just little things, and then they pull you into a run of several issues where things move along pretty briskly. The show has been the same way over the years. Lots of episodes that come across to some as filler and then a bunch that remind you why you like it.

Lauren Cohan was looking mighty fine on Talking Dead tonight.

I liked the episode of Daryl and Beth just fine. All I can offer is a shoulder shrug. Different tastes.

Yup. Even made up for the relatively boring conversation for a while. Nowhere near as good as her last appearance (when they killed off Herschel).

Better Walking Dead episode this week, too, though I really expected the last shot to be Maggie and Sasha finding Bob being eaten.

Better episode but a lot of stuff that didn't make sense.

Findin Bob dead would've been the best.

I agree. I expected it because I though it would have been a well-delivered emotional punch to the gut and it would have fit the tone of the show.

    What didn't make sense?

I didn't get why Maggie struck out on her own. There was no need for her to do it.
Even if Sasha convinced Bob to stop some place, they were heading in the same direction. Should would have stayed with them for another day or two until they reached a town, and then she would have continued on alone if Sasha convinced Bob to stay.

Also, with regard to the journey to Terminus, Sasha was partially correct. Why wouldn't want Bob and Maggie want to stay for a day or two in the next town to replenish their supplies. Tactically, that would improve their chances of reaching Terminus.

I wasn't clear why Maggie was lying on the ground outside.

I'm not sure why Sasha would argue that heading to Terminus is a bad idea. Rick, Michone, Carol, Tyrese, Bob, Maggie, and soon Glenn all think it's the best option. Why wouldn't Sasha?
I understand that she is afraid she'll run into survivors who will tell her Tyrese is dead. I get that part.
I don't believe that a person in that situation would find that to be a compelling reason to avoid her best o0-ption for survival.

Anyway, better episode. The Beth kidnapping was a good twist.

The actress who plays Sasha spoke about why she didn't want to go to Terminus on Talking Dead. She said it was Sasha's concern that it would be another Woodbury.

The one I didn't get either was why Maggie was lying on the ground. What the heck was that about?
