It looked like Maggie was lying between two downed walkers. I thought she was using them as camouflage so that the 'live' walkers wouldn't notice her.

Not sure how much better it was. Essentially, I watched 40 minutes of people walking up a railroad track. And when Beth sings, I fast-forward my DVR like it's my job.

I think Maggie was trying to play dead so the walkers wouldn't attack her.

If it was camouflage, I'd expect her to have painted herself with more zombie gore.

Obviously, we don't know the details of what was happening. Sasha seemed to come into town and get safely up to a second floor no problem. I would think Maggie would've done the same.

This episode was a good example of why last week's didn't work. Again, not a lot really happened. As Bubbler noted (in perhaps the shortest post of his SJ career :D ), it was essentially 40 mins of people walking up a railroad track.

Yet, it was 1,000 times more dynamic and interesting than last week's because they split the story between two groups.

This episode gave us a good insight into Bob, which I enjoyed, and even into Sasha as well (which I didn't like as much - her character was a little too Michonne-lite for my tastes).

The badasses who ran into Daryl at the end were the same ones who busted up Rick's house, so I'm thinking Daryl's going to meet up with Rick, Michonne and Carl soon. The kidnapping of Beth was a good way to pull the carpet out from under Daryl. He had just gotten comfortable with himself, and he quickly became complacent at the funeral home, possibly costing him a chance to strike up a romance with Beth (and let's be honest, that's a solid trade-up from Carol).

The other thing I realized tonight is that with three episodes left, it looks like we're in for three more episodes similar to the rest of this half-season. We probably won't see Terminus until the finale, and next season will revolve around whatever story lines develop there. They've got a lot of work to do over the final three episodes to rescue this half-season.

    Well, uh, yeah.
Good lord. That was dark. Not as dark as it could have been at the end there with Carol but damn. That was dark.

Disturbing is more like it. I usually try not to spoil stuff too quickly in case people didn't get to watch tonight, but the first big reveal didn't surprise me. I kinda figured that was what she'd do. But the scene by the flowers? That one is going to stay with me.

Lizzie creeps the crap out of me.

Happy for the deer, sad for the mouse.

OOP, she had a tough choice. Based on safety considerations, I don't see how she could have let Lizzie live. It was harsh.

I'm not questioning the logic. She nearly suffocated the baby earlier this season. It is certainly in character for Carol, given her past actions, to take that step. I even think she and Tyreese were very much in character in the conversation that night at the kitchen table.

I'm also not surprised that Kirkman killed off those two characters because of something from the source which shall not be named. It all made sense for the characters and the story, but still, I think I'd be happier if I hadn't watched it.
