Sunday's episode has made me realize that this show is one of the most disturbing, disgusting, vile, antisocial, evil piece of devil worship ever put to paper and then film by man. I LOVE IT! This shit is hardcore (for non-premium cable).

Well, as we all saw several episodes ago, Lizzie killed them.

On the Sunday after show they said the baby was with Tyresse and Carol in a baby carrier. Also, Melissa McBride said the puzzle they were putting together in the house was of Sophia wearing her rainbow shirt. They did it to get the actors into a certain mood.

    What was burning? Terminus?

I assumed it was the house that Daryl and blondie burned down the show the week before.

I don't think they were that close to Terminus.

And I don't think there's any way it wasn't the house Daryl and Beth burned down the week before.

That's one of the things this season has driven home, just how much bigger the world seems without so much technology. They really aren't far part at all by modern standards, but take away cell phones and other electronic communications and they seem to be in entirely different worlds.

You know what gets me? I never know how dumb or smart the walkers are. One episode they are tricked by humans covered in walker parts, the next day they are banging down doors trying to get into a quiet, boarded up house.

It is evident that walkers can see, hear and smell humans, but it isn't obvious how great those senses are. For example, Maggie can sleep next to dead walkers and remain undetected despite walkers being able to see and hear. Yet, Darryl and Beth have to hide in a trunk to avoid getting eaten even though they seemed to have a jump on the walkers.

I'm also never sure how fast walkers are. One episode they seem to be walking briskly. Other episodes they seem fast. Why don't the characters jog away from walkers more than they do? How come walkers can seem to chase after them in straight lines or upstairs without getting confused?

We also know they are somewhat distracted by light/heat/sound as evidence of them being drawn to fires. So how come they don't stare at the sun all day? If they are attracted to noise and movement, wouldn't they be jumping in rivers, lakes and chasing birds and the wind all god damn day?

I think there should be some sort of consensus about how aware these walkers are so I can therefore judge the characters and their stupid reactions.

My take is that as walkers age (decompose) they become slower and dumber.

The zombies' behavior does seem inconsistent, even allowing for the idea that their behaviors could change over time due to decomposition and other factors.

At times the inconsistencies bother me, but often I assume that I, like the characters on the show, just don't fully understand zombie behavior, instincts, etc.
