Two episodes in a row that have been interesting.
The show is indeed being generous.

Strange ending with Terminus. What is really going on in those walls? Maybe they are trying to trick us. Maybe it is fine after all, however, not having a security system doesn't seem like a good idea. I have a feeling Terminus itself will be sorted out next week but we will be left with a cliffhanger or two (maybe involving Beth) or involving Rick vs. the gang of hooligans with Daryl. Of course it will be something like Daryl pretending not to know Rick and then helping sabatoge the gang he is with.

I have a feeling Daryl is just waiting for his chance to kill them all because they are bad people and he doesn't trust them. Talking to Rick would only validate that point.

But Daryl also has beef with Rick because of the Carol issue, and I am sure that he somewhat blames his brother's death on him too. I will be interested to see how that plays out when those two world collide.

Just caught up on the last two weeks and they were both excellent episodes (three in a row!). Holy crap the episode about Lizzie was a tough one to watch and digest. Every moment was well earned.

I got the impression that Carol had come to grips with the fact that she didn't entirely like who she has become and was decided to tell Tyrese in the hopes that he would exact vengeance and end her miserable existence. His mercy, I think, is going to help her find a new will to live.

A lot of threads began coming together this week and the conflicts that are being set up, along with the unanswered question of how friendly Terminus may or may not be, promise to make next week's episode a strong finale.

It was pointed out that Tasha Yar (of Star Trek Next Gen fame) plays Mary at Terminus.
Man, it's been that long since Next Gen has been on...she looked....worn.

  6. World War Z came out in 2006. Walking Dead and Brooks's first book both came out in 2003.

Kirkman said he was most influenced by the Romero movies, but also said he hasn't watched or read any other zombie works since he started working on Walking Dead.

I think that was the point, though. Right?

I can't remember if this was said on this thread of the one where we're allowed to discuss the source material so I won't go into too many details so as to avoid potential spoilers but whoever called that this version of Teminus was essentially a larger version of one of the comic's deranged plot lines around this point in the material nailed it.
My guess is the group in the train running terminus is totally, irrevocably screwed once Rick and the group find a way to get free.
I really liked the season finale. It wrapped up a lot of storylines and set the stage for Season Five without you needing to see the resolution right this minute. All in all, I'm happy with where the show is going.

I liked it as well, but there are already folks who are blasting the episode.

    Why are they blasting it?

I didn't think the flashbacks were necessary. I get what they were doing, but it really just distracted from the story. But otherwise, I had no issues with the episode at all.
