In the old Westerns, the law always wanted the cowboys to give up their guns entering town, so that the only ones with guns were the ones in control. Hmmm....

And please find Sophia, dead or alive, and get on with it.

How has nobody mentioned Lori being pregnant (or did I just miss it)? What happens if it's Shane's? Shit is going to hit the fan in the group.

Lori is probably carrying Shane's child. It's fantastic conflict. I think Rick already knows. I think it's what Jenner told him back at the CDC. That full blood test probably turned it up. Rick just hasn't had a chance to decompress and say anything considering not long after the CDC blowing to shit they found the road block/the herd and then Carl got shot.

Hershel's farm seems to neatly run and organized. There's got to be more. I want him to have a dark secret or motive or something. The show needs it. Or maybe a group of asshole nomads come upon the house and seize it. We need some fucking conflict.

Since I read the books, I assume I know what will happen next...and you will LOVE it!

I only know a few things about what happened in the books, but from what I've read about the author, he is very skilled at setting up what seems like a peaceful status quo, and then turning it to hell.

I wonder if Merle and a few buddies are out from this peaceful farm gathering supplies or something during this three-day tenure, and they return to find a bunch of newbies (Rick's gang). To which we have conflict!

I didn't trust Herschel from the moment he got on screen. Still don't.

No Herschel = no Carl, most likely.

I wonder if this is actually Herschel's farm. Like, he's the face of it right now, but maybe he's only in charge while some others are gone for a bit? Perhaps he's offering shelter and food to a group of nomads (Merle and company?), who provide protection via guns and perhaps military backgrounds. And the reason why he told Rick and Shane "no guns" is because that's a term of the agreement between him and Merle? Oh boy, my mind is just wandering now. I need some CONFLICT!
