    IIRC, Aaron took them and used them during the recruiting process, to show candidates that he's not full of shit and Alexandria was well fortified. That was Aaron's backpack.

    The Wolf that Morgan fights inside the house, was that one of the guys he let go in the forest? I missed what the dude said to him before Morgan killed him.

    OK, I kind of got distracted at that part, but now that you say it, it's pretty obvious. However, even with a lack of guards, the gate should have been closed and locked, right?

    Every attempt to preserve one's sense of civilized humanity comes with a cost: Morgan letting that guy live resulted in more deaths, Aaron's attempts to recruit new people resulted in more death, and possibly taking Enid in resulted in more deaths.

    @bigpern23 is right about the backpack. That was the end of last season when Darryl and Aaron almost died near the trucks and Morgan saved them. Aaron dropped them when he ran away and the Wolf that Morgan fought in the house found them.

    And yes, that was the same guy. He realizes Morgan can't (read: won't) kill him, and says, "you can't, can you? You should of" (here's the scene:
    )

    They shouldn't be, but it is still possible.

    I like Lindeloff's bit about denial on Talking Dead. I'm guessing a lot of people went that route in their minds. I know I did.

    How telling is it, though, that they didn't show the character in the "In Memory" piece?

    Edit: even the comment from Scott Gimple was vague.

    I actually thought of watching to see if the character would be included. Kinda shitty if doing so was a fake-out and the character is really gone.

    That character is definitely not dead. No way. No way at all.
    I won't discuss it here yet in case some people haven't seen it but there were a TON of clues that it's a fake out. Plus, do you really think they'd kill that major a character so nonchalantly?
