Maybe the nuking happened in a different city or something?

It's pretty clear in the flashback that it's the atlanta skyline.

Shane gets to be a bigger douche with each passing show.
    Lori is a ho!
Is there a decided timeline between Rick's shooting and everything going down? He couldn't have been left in the hospital too long without nutrition or he would have died. So, husband get shot, a week later the world goes to pieces, a week after that his wife is gettin boned by his buddy. Nice.

Atlanta's a big city. It's plausible not all of it was napalmed.

And they wouldn't napalm a part of the city that had troops in it. Remember the tank Rick hid out in?

The boning was happening prior to Rick being shot, I think, and just picked up steam after he was believed to be down for the count. At least that's what I gathered.

I'm pretty sure it began after Rick was shot and Shane began taking care of the family. I'm not sure if it began before the zombie apocalypse. Rick was in a coma, but I'm not sure for how long.

Rick and Lori were having problems before the zombie apocalypse. That was evident by Rick and Shane's conversation minutes before the car chase, and later when Lori was talking to that woman while waiting for Carl to get out of class (and then Shane showed up and said Rick got shot). Therefore, I think Lori and Shane might have had something going on before the world went to shit.

And god damnit how fucking stupid is Andrea? Her logic was completely irrational. Save ammo, don't make a loud sound that could attract walkers, and DON'T FUCKING SHOOT WHEN YOUR OWN PEOPLE ARE FEET AWAY FROM THE ALLEGED WALKER READY TO EFFICIENTLY BASH ITS BRAINS IN WITH BLUNT-FORCE OBJECTS!

But it's also bullshit writing because you're trying to force us to believe a person who so badly wants to prove something would actually act like that it. It's heavy-handed crap. Jesse Pinkman has been trying to prove his worth for four seasons and he doesn't do it by going into the lab and trying to cook a batch of his own, only to break a machine with ineptitude.

You let circumstances dictate your character's actions (Daryl gets hurt while looking in the woods for the girl), not forced actions dictate your character's actions.

And Dale's line about "Well, we've all wanted to shoot Daryl at some point" was funny, it's still bullshit. Rick, Shane and T-Dog should be ready to strangle that bitch, yet there was zero interaction afterwards as if it wasn't that big of a deal.

    Damnit.

I'm guessing the group didn't acknowledge her because they wanted to make sure Daryl was ok first. And that came near the end of the show, just before Glenn found the walkers stored up in the barn (iirc).

I know I could be wrong on this but I don't remember Sophia carrying her doll into the woods. But, hey, that was a season and a half go, or so it seems.

I do have a question: If Darryl shoots zombies with his one arrow and then impales himself with it, wouldn't that zombie DNA on it infect Darryl?

And I hate Lori's character. I don't know why Shane would even want to be with her. And Andrea's an idiot.

Sophia had the doll with her when she ran from the zombie a few weeks ago.

And I'm sure if Daryl was going to be infected that it would have happened by now.

    A couple of thoughts.

First, I seem to remember Sophia dragging the doll with her but I don't remember one way or another. Two, Darryl went at least a couple days between kills (IIRC) so the DNA would have probably fallen off/been cleaned by the time he fell on it.

Three, Shane would want to be with her because she has boobs and a vagina.

Four, I agree that Andrea is stupid. Why wouldn't she just wait until it got close enough to confirm it was a walker? And why would she waste a bullet in that situation? Makes me shake my head.
