What makes me shake my head is they killed off her sister instead of her ...

I can't stand the Andrea character.

Does anyone read recaps/reviews from some of the TV and film sites? Kirkman does a weekly interview with EW.com posted every Monday morning.

I usually read Sepinwall's takes, though they aren't very detailed on this show.

Speaking of this show, I had never seen Love, Actually until last week, and I was stunned to see Andrew Lincoln (Rick) have a big role in that film. I hadn't seem him in anything else. Forgot he was quite British. He does a pretty good job with the Georgia accent.

I had no clue he was British. Impressive accent.

Yeah, the whole accent thing is funny, especially when you watch extras or interviews with him wearing the Rick Grimes scruffy beard and sweaty county cop outfit and he's speaking in his regular voice.

The guy who reviews the show for AV Club is not much of a fan, and it's interesting to read his take deconstructing the writing vs. the fluff stuff from EW.com and a lot of other sites.

I watched a clip on the AMC website a few days ago, and was blown away by Lincoln's accent. I had no idea he was British until watching that clip.

If you've ever heard Dominic West (McNulty from The Wire) talk, it's the same phenomenon. Crazy thick Irish accent.

same goes for Bill (Stephen Moyer) on True Blood or Jax (Charlie Hunnam) on Sons of Anarchy

Jamie Bamber (Battlestar Galactica) also does it well. Or did it well, since these days he's on BBC's Law and Order.

You really can tell how much they cut the budget this season; the last time I saw special effects as bad as the napalming of Atlanta, I was watching Team America.

And all the sitting around and talking and talking and talking. Ugh.

Add Hugh Laurie (sp*) to the mix. The first time I watched any special features for House, I thought he was busting balls with his accent.

Yeah. I've started watching The Walking Dead this season and I'm not impressed.
