The craziest one is seeing Stringer Bell sound like William Shakespeare.
Also, very few shows make me have an actual verbal reaction when watching it (not counting laughing) but this one definitely does it. It might be slow-moving at times, but when things do happen, at least for me, they actually generate a reaction, which is cool. The Wire and Deadwood might have been the last ones to do that to me.

This is the first zombie show I have liked.

    Yet another slow-moving episode tonight.

Pretty much everyone on here called the reason Herschel kept walkers in his barn. I think the show will finally get better once they leave Herschel's, which from the previews, that's what looks like will happen.

I think I'm getting sick of hearing how this show is "slow moving"...I think it's just a great dialoge-centric show. It's what life would be like (as realistically as possible) if the world went to shit. If there was a zombie around every corner and people were having nothing but shit days piled on shit days, they would all blow their head off after a week or two. I like the pace, it makes the "oh shit" moments that much better.
I think LOST hurt other shows...people want an OMG-WTF?! moment before every break.

Agree. You can't be running from zombies every second.

But I wish more of the people were likable. I think that's a result of its graphic novel origins. It seems in graphic novels that everyone is screwed up.

But I do want a pet zombie for my basement.

The pace is fine. It's the problem with what's going on inside that pace.

Andrea and everything about her storyline is awful.

Glenn has become a plot point (seriously, he's really nervous and can't keep secrets so he gets uneasy eyes and body language, which draws questions and curiosity from others, which allows the writers to inject dialogue or actions based on that).

And Maggie gets all pissed and throws things at Lori, exclaiming the next time she wants something, she should get it herself instead of risking everyone else's lives. Uhhhh, Maggie, you VOLUNTARILY went along with Glenn. That was actually a point in dialogue between the two.

This show is maddening because it has much potential but just keeps squandering it.

At least Shane is cool. Kills zombies, fucks Andrea, tells Dale to fuck off.

Good point...you think there are zombies wandering around Atlanta moaning "Talllllll Fescuuuuue"?

I think the show might become more enjoyable if it infused some new characters into the mix. Can't stand Andrea or Lori (my gosh, did she cry like 4 times last night?). I hope Sophia comes back as a zombie and her mom (also can't stand) lets herself get eaten by her before Dale or Shane blows her head off.

Keep Maggie. Throw the other women from the group into the barn.

I haven't read the comics, but I've heard that Andrea becomes this hard-ass sharpshooter, which is what we are now seeing. Also, Maggie complained to Lori because in here idyllic world (such as it is) she doesn't encounter walkers when she goes into town. It was an unexpected moment (as she's been sheltered) and, you know, when you nearly are killed you might get a little upset.

Also, I watch the Talking Dead show and they keep saying how amazed that they get to certain plot points much quicker than the comic does. So for those complaining how drawn out it is .... I guess it could be worse!
