Andrea as a hard-ass sharpshooter is LOL-inducing. She didn't even turn the safety off the gun she pulled on Rick in the Atlanta store (in ep. 2) and like a week or so later she's shooting zombies in the chest, gets the slo-mo treatment from the cameras, and suddenly becomes a sharpshooter with a pistol. Yawn.

Also, the only way to make's return Sophia interesting is if she's a) in the zombie barn, b) wanders zombiefied onto the farm property, c) is a kidnap victim of some crazy survivalist wilderness group, d) is not just the regular little girl they randomly find. If d) is written, I will punch my television. And a small child.

No -- they are all along the banks of the 'Hootch, gorging themselves on kudzu.

Speaking of crazy eyes, didn't notice before last night that Lori's twice as cross-eyed as Michelle Bachman. And I noticed it about 1 second before Rick tells her, "don't look at me that way!"

I hope to God the clip reviewers from The Soup were watching that!

Funny thing is, Rick's left eyelid was looking a little droopy during that moment, too.

Lori: "Rick, I'm so sorry I screwed your best friend. We thought you were dead and we waited until we figured your body was at room temperature."

Please move on from the Sophia story.

I find the whole "gun training" thing funny. Yes, I grew up with a gun in my hand, but most of these folks are rural or at least somewhat, so my guess is they've at least been exposed to firearms. Plus, blowing off all your ammo like that isn't good.

Though not a lot "happened" last night, it was a very intense episode, I thought. The scene between Shane and Dale was very well acted.

The target practice was laughable bullshit. We know gunshots (sounds) attract walkers and it was alluded to by our characters who were pissed at Rick and Merle in Atlanta for shooting. Yet, what do the characters do? They shoot and shoot and shoot, and create a TON of noise all while wasting assloads of ammo. And the point of it all by the writers? A heavy-handed way of showing Andrea really wants to be a shooter but is miffed that she can't quite hit the targets. It's lazy and stupid writing, and I'm pissed off. At least it involved Shane, who's actually a likable character.

T-Dog's only line of the episode: "Don't do that gangster shit." Go figure. Yawn.

I second the punching of the TV––and small child.

I like the actor who plays Dale but Dale is a pain in the ass, with his father-figure crap (or is it something else?) toward Andrea and more. He's a busybody wash-woman and Shane should have laid him out.

Lori, meanwhile, seems to be safeguarding against a walker chowing down on her by making sure there's no meat on them bones. Pity the zombies stuck in Biafra, where all the peeps are built like Lori. She'll probably gain 1.5 pounds in the pregnancy.

Almost all, in fact, I think all, of the debate was about the baby and bringing it into a world of shit. I thought it was well done with dialogue and acting. But there was no talk of Lori's well-being during pregnancy. Let's not forget she'll be heavier, slower and more needy while pregnant. She'll become a liability long before the baby is born. That should be concern number one, yet there's nary a mention of it.

How dare you besmirch the beautiful Sarah Wayne Callies. I've swooned over her since Prison Break season one.
