Agreed on Rick and Michonne, and by now we know that's what the show is really all about - the relationships these characters build in a world that's fallen apart. But it did feel anti-climactic.

Has Judith gotten more screen time than Coral since we got back from the break?

In his absence, Rosita has become an unexpected contender for the "Character I really want eaten by a bunch of zombies" award.

Yeah, she's become incredibly annoying and cliche (Rosita, not Judith :D).

I liked the bit with Tara and Little Ass-Kicker, though part of the point seemed to be just reminding us that the toddler exists.

It really felt like it was the episode for soliloquies...there were at least 3 or 4 "speeches" given (Rick, Tara, Gabriel, and then Rick again)

I get why Rick kept extending his trip with Michonne. It was a fun little vacation where they could bone on dirty floors whenever they wanted. But every time he said "just one or two more days" I screamed at the TV:

"BUT YOU HAVE A SON AND DAUGHTER! WHAT ABOUT THEM?"

I honestly think even Rick forgets.

I had the same thought. To be fair, there are probably parents in the normal world who try to extend their opportunity to stay out while somebody else is watching their kids.

And aren't they still subject to collections by Negan & Co.? Wouldn't they need to get back to avoid pissing off the Saviors if they happened to show up?

Seems like one of those surprise visits/collections will stir things up next week.

Regarding tonight, psychotic Morgan is my favorite Morgan.

Morgan is the worst. What a crap episode. I don't know if I can make it to the final big fight.

This season of The Walking Dead is as predictable Gilligan's Island.

Every episode is about them maybe one day getting ready to fight Negan and the Negans but they never get off the island.

At least give us some Ginger.

So I cracked and did what I never do: Checked this thread before watching the most recent episode.

Sounds like I didn't miss anything too explosive. Please tell me this episode doesn't only focus on Morgan. He can be such a drag. And when episodes only focus on one character, I feel like the story grinds to a halt.

Like last week focused on a couple of storylines that seemed to be pushing things together (The Garbage People, Rick and Co., and the Amazons). It wasn't a riveting episode, but at least there was forward progress.
