No, and I've been hating it the whole time. Just seemed like a turn the character didn't need. Like I said, he was sort of the "people are still good inside" guy, and they've taken that away, so he's basically just another version of Carol and Rick.

I thought it was an OK episode. Better than anything in the fall, for sure. But damn, they had a very powerful moment in that episode with Rick and Michonne dealing with the loss of Coral and instead of letting it play out, they kept interrupting with Morgan. I get what they were trying to do, but they ruined what I thought was a very strong moment. Even Rick's terrible acting couldn't ruin that moment, but bouncing back and forth to Morgan messed it up for me.

Good to know what all the future visions were really all about. Solves that issue for me. It was all a Coral dream.

As someone above mentioned, it's still good TV, but not set aside an hour each week to watch it live. I just wonder what direction the show will head now. Coral is gone. Maggie is most likely gone. Michonne (or at least the person playing Michonne, which to me makes Michonne) is most likely gone. I'm sure Andrew Lincoln will be gone. Do they spin forward a show based around Carol , the new Coral, Judith and Jesus? I'm just having a hard time seeing where this goes after this season now that one of the central characters from the comic book is gone.

Why are you assuming Maggie, Michonne and Rick will all be gone so soon?

The actress that plays Maggie is already signed up for a new pilot on another show, so rumor is out there that she'll last this season and possibly part of next season.

Actress that plays Michonne is coming off a huge blockbuster movie and will be able to pretty much write her own ticket. Unless they center TWD around her, I could see her getting something where she's more of a central figure and not one of 18 people in the storyline.

And I just assume that they won't be able to keep paying Andrew Lincoln. Feels like they're about to do a reboot with the main characters, but that's just me.

Black Panther is great and Danai Gurira is excellent in it, but it's not like she was the star of that movie. It wasn't even a character who was a huge departure from what she's done before. Like Michonne, Okoya is a badass with a good heart.

I don't see any reason why they wouldn't be able to keep paying Andrew Lincoln. Check out his IMDB page. He hasn't done anything but The Walking Dead in a long time.

I think the larger problems are in the show itself. It's not as good as it once was and the ratings show it.

So Negan basically summed up what people have been saying about Rick for a while now.

Agreed, though of course Rick won't do what Negan told him to do.

Sometimes Negan sounds so reasonable. Then you remember how he actually "saves" groups of people.

That said, I'm glad they played his reaction to Carl's death that way. I thought that part was well done.

It was good to see the garbage people wiped out, and good to see Jadis dropped the crazy baby talk for a brief moment to beg for Rick to help her. I've always wondered how the garbage people became what they devolved into. It appears as though it was just their way of beginning anew, speaking in baby talk.

And a lot of fans are pissed that Negan threw Carl's death back in Rick's face, but I thought it was played well. Negan hasn't been the most sane person on the world, but he's the one that actually has it all figured out. His tactics aren't the best, but he's figured it out. LOL

In this season , it seemed like Rick and Negan were to Coral what Sgt. Elias and Sgt. Barnes were to Charlie Sheen's Chris Taylor in Platoon.

This show jumped the shark right around Terminal. Can’t believe it’s still going. Got boring to me, same as Sons of Anarchy and Lost. I just had to walk away from all; they’d stolen too much of my time and energy without the payoffs.

    1) Rick has apparently learned nothing about turning your back on people in need of help... although I don’t know if I’d blame him for not wanting to assist the woman that shot him, betrayed him twice and twice made him battle for his life just for the hell of it.

    2) Negan is about to find out that his top three lieutenants are either dead, traitors or crazy, so that will be fun.

I'm not even sure Simon is crazy. He's just a vicious bastard and he's furious that Negan won't let him take revenge on the Hilltop, so he took it out on the Heap people.
