So the lesson we all learned is that Jabba should have sent Rick Grimes. Han's sorry ass would have never made it out of that cantina.

It'll be off by then. It's only six episodes (I hate that split season crap!)

This is, I believe, a 13-episode run. EDIT: There were seven first-half episodes.

Best episode since this season's premiere. Finally, a lot of walkers and lots of action and conflict.

Final scene with Lori and Rick was phenomenal.

I was kinda hoping the walkers did Lori in. Too bad.

    Funny moment.

At the end when Lori is talking to Rick about Shane I said to HC, "She's Lady Macbeth".

HC said, "I was just thinking the same thing" We do that stuff a lot.

It reminded me of Laura Linney's last scene in Mystic River. Funny how those archetypes keep popping up

Sepinwall more or less said the same thing in his review tonight.

That said, I saw some potential in the final scene, with Lori going Lady Macbeth on Rick and whispering dark thoughts about Shane into his ear. If that's where all this is heading — the realization that while Rick has made many mistakes, and while Shane has murdered and attempted rape and other crimes, they've been doing these things in the name of someone far colder and more ruthless than they could imagine — than that could be interesting.

In The Final Confrontation between Rick & Shane, I'm going with Rick. He's a lot smarter and Shane is an asshole.

The zombie shaving it's face away on the glass trying to get at Lori was the best, most intense zombie vs. Human one on one struggle I've seen since the Zombi eye splinter death. Great stuff.

    Awesome episode!

Lori might be the easiest-to-hate character on television.

Funniest line of the episode has to be either Carl, in that ridiculous cowboy hat, asking, "You're having a baby?" or T-Dog, what with the fact that he's T-Dog and that we know absolutely nothing about him other than that he's the black guy named T-Dog, asking, "Who the hell is that?"

The Rick vs. Shane showdown is coming. And there's been much speculation on Shane meeting his demise (he's on borrowed time if you go by the comic book series and the actor has another TV show lined up as well.)

So who shoots/kills Shane? Who would you like to see do it? (Can a bullet go through Shane and kill Lori as well, ala Otis and the deer/Carl shot?)

    A. Rick. B. Lori C. Carl (who shoots him in the comics). D. Dale (who might shoot him after he's dead, anyway, just for good measure). E. Andrea. F. Darryl (with a crossbow! Awesome). G. Glenn. H. Herschel.

I think Dale is a good bet since he hates Shane the most. If I were the writers, I'd go with Herschel as the most shocking choice. H.

I found myself rooting for the zombie there.
