We've talked about staying away from spoilers from the comics. What about spoilers from interviews with Kirkman? I read one that I found interesting today. Not sure if I should share it here.

Advance reviewer that I trust tweeted that tonight's show will be the best since the series opener.

    Can't wait.

Finally found one that doesn't have the information in the text of the link. There are quite a few stories online about this, so it's not a big secret. It does spoil a very big plot point for season three for those who have read the comic.

I like the idea that perhaps the creatives behind the show will now do more of these episodes where not all the survivors have to wander through. Focus on a few members of the group each week, let some personalities begin to emerge.

This show will work better if we care more about the people we still don't yet know terribly well.

Just caught up after skipping last week's for lack of interest.

Solid episode tonight. I'm so over the whole "Lori/Shane/Rick" love triangle thing but I thought tonight's confrontation between Shane and Rick was fantastic.

Can't believe there's only three episodes left this season. I don't get why AMC even bothers doing this. Just pull the show until January and run off a fresh 13. This is killing any investment in the show I might have had.

While the episode tonight was good, I felt it jumped around and made some major leaps to advance the plot.

The main thing was the kid who they had prisoner sure got around pretty well without a lot of pain after having his leg skewered on that metal fence.

More examples of what makes the show good at times and bad at others

    1) Rick and Shane's wacky adventure
Good - The tension, fighting, dialogue, striking visual of the walker in the field and Shane's "zombie" reflection, the desolate atmosphere of waste management facility, foreshadowing with the scratch victims
Bad - Apparently, the zombies slept through the shouting and misfired gunshot, but were awakened by shattering glass from the wrench.

    2) Suicide Girl
Good - Suicide is certainly a debate to be had in this world
Bad - Who cares about that character? From the panic/shock-attack-that-no-real-person-has to laying around all day.... I mean, who cares? What's this chick's name? Also, Lori's stance on the worth of life is so inconsistent (perhaps this is something that makes her real, but I think it's just convenient writing).

    3) The lack of other characters
Good - Not every episode needs to show every character
Bad - Did you really care that you didn't get to see Glen, Dale, Carol or T-Dog? Also, no Daryl Motherfucking Dixon sucked.

    As I see it:

1.) All good. That might have been the most well-executed plot they've had on the show.
2.) All bad. We've had the suicide debate. This version of it was terrible.
3.) Mostly good. The show isn't sustainable if it keeps trying to cram every character into every episode. The only bad was not having Daryl in an episode because he's awesome.
