    Exactly.

I don't expect day-to-day lives of these people. Not at all. But if he's good enough be healed to walk, that means he's been at the farm for at the least a few days. Which means Rick and Co. did an AWESOME job keeping him imprisoned and blindfolded and out of the know. Or the writers just left us a another hole in the narrative.

Didn't Rick say they were going to keep him in the barn? Not too hard to believe he never saw the outside of the farm or the house, much less any of people living there.

But, yes, as someone else noted, that we even have to have the conversation means the writers (or editors) left something important out.

Maybe they'll fill us in the coming weeks -- kinda like how they flashed forward to Shane on the bus and the kid crawling toward the knife in Sunday's episode.

It could've been cleared up quite simply with "One Week Later" or something.

Oh, and I know Rick's heard gunfire before, but he had that 44 magnum really close to his ears when he shot those zombies that landed on him. That'll leave you discombobulated for awhile with the loud noise going off in your ear. He got up like nothing bothered him.

I also find it hard to believe that no blood got in his eyes, mouth etc. I'm sure if you get blood in your eye/mouth from zombies it carries the same effect as a scratch.

I pick at these things but I do love the show.

Even a simple line in dialogue between Rick and Shane during their Whacky Adventures would've covered it.

Shane: "Can't believe we let this piece of garbage drain us for over a week. Food. Medical supplies. What if he heard something?"
Rick: "Well, that's why we're gonna drop him off somewhere far from the farm. He won't be our problem anymore."

I don't recall them mentioning keeping him in the barn. Also, I was the one who noted that. Ha ha.

I think they did make mention to a week passing somewhere during the show.

They definitely mentioned keeping him in the barn. Still, it doesn't really explain, well, anything.

What about Shane stabbing one of the police walkers and then cutting himself when he's in the bus? Any chance he's infected or is this another minor detail the writers will skip over?

I can't remember exactly, but didn't Rick do the same self-cutting thing to bring in the walkers close enough for the kill? I distinctly remember what you're talking about with Shane, but I think Rick did the same thing as well. Or I could be not thinking straight.

Rick did do that on the fence before the battle royale. But the situation is reversed in his case. Rick cut himself first, then put the blade into the walker. Shane's fence walker was already in "pursuit" and he just killed it with Rick alongside him, leaving walker blood on the blade. Shane then cut himself in the bus.
Just thought I'd mention it since the discussion on Talking Dead revolved around that point during the show for a few minutes.

Ah. I get what you're saying. Yeah. That could come back later.
