Thanks, spikechiquet. I hope I didn't annoy you with my post. I really like discussing stuff that happens on the show, but I've seen a few potential comic-book spoilers on this thread that I wouldn't have seen anywhere else. I don't speak for everyone, of course, but I certainly wouldn't mind discussing how the show differs from the comics as things happen.

Another option, of course, is to just be sure to alert people to comic-book spoilers in your posts. I don't read anything in this thread that is clearly marked as a potential spoiler.

    spike,

Your thread makes me want to read the comics, and I don't want to spring for that, dang you!

I won't post how to do it in a public forum (it's sort of frowned upon, but very do-able), but PM me if you want to know how to read them online. That's how I did it.

If you don't want to do that...check your local library...they usually have a graphic novel section.

I won't say I did the same thing, I bet, but I won't say I didn't. I used the library up to the point I couldn't stand the wait, though, if I tried such a thing.

Hey, if we're going to give away our products for free, why can't they?!

Rewatched The Mist tonight -- the adaptation of my favorite horror story -- and realized I had forgotten how many of the same actors Daranbot used in both The Mist and TWD.

Speaking of The Mist, while I loved King's ending, I gotta admit, the ending of the film version really hit home with me.

Yeah, it was a nice twist...the book was more optimistic though...but both had good endings.

Loved the King story. Thought the movie ending sucked.
