Wow...fantastic and brutal. I hope the TV show will mimic the darkness set in this. Yikes.

Dammit, must watch when I get home. I didn't realize they were doing these again.

    Awesome.

No problem. Hope you enjoy it as much as I have. And there are tie-ins with the current story line (TV series) that are interesting.

I didn't know until I checked the site to make sure I remembered correctly when the season starts. I'm guessing the show will be every bit as dark and brutal.

Didn't need my DVR to record that highlights from the upcoming season. AMC really pimps out The Walking Dead, though. About to watch the premiere.

Meh. That was an OK episode with a few good fights and plot movement, but I kind of expected more excitement. The Herschel amputation was interesting.

It's obvious Glen Mazzara and Co. are trying to get as far away from that damn farm as possible. Moving the story along several months between seasons and then breezing them into the prison. I'm fine with that. Watching them wander through the Georgia rural landscape could only go so far. The prison is going to be great.

Some good mystery set up there with the zombie civilian in the hoard of guards (awesome SWAT gear, guys!) and prisoners.

Hershel getting bit caught me off guard, but I can't say I'm surprised because the slouched zombie was shown just shots before. Rick's amputation - wow. Andrew Lincoln's reaction after that final chop - great.

The group of living prisoners could make for some good drama.

I love the guy's line after he hacks the old man's leg off.

"Welp, looks like he's bleeding out. We should try to stop that."

    Ya think?

I thought it was a decent episode that set things up quite nicely for the rest of the season. You can't go wrong with blood-spattered cells and zombie prison cafeterias.

Plus, it's always a bonus when a new group of people show up because you've got at least two or three characters you can rely on getting fairly attached to before they end up with their intestines strewn across the screen. It's something to look forward to.

And I'm fairly certain that Daryl and Jamie Lee Curtis are going to rub genitals. I would rather watch a YouTube video of Auntie Anne's pretzel making with intestines, but whatever...

Also, (and maybe somebody mentioned this on one of the previous 39 pages) has anyone ever played the Facebook Walking Dead game? A friend wants to know.

I'm mostly rooting for Carl to stick it to farmer girl. Also, he was SO MUCH MORE TOLERABLE.

But Lori's still a bitch and I hope that baby eats her from the inside out.

Kirkman, in a subtle way veiled by his humor, essentially said Carl was much better this season. He seems to be very important to the story, so it was needed.
