I was talking about the "big-time speed freak who won't be able to get his fix." What about that guy signified speed?

He said pharmaceuticals, which speed is made from. Could be a pill popper too. Don't know, just guessing and stirring the discussion. From what I remember, that's what it sounded like. To my reaction to this season and the prison dynamic, that is what I have drawn on my own will and thought process from the first two episodes, as Schiezainc stated.
For the record, I haven't read the comics so let's chill the fuck out.

I could be mistaken but I don't believe that has anything to do with the comics. I don't know though as it's been a couple of months since I read them and I don't remember much about the group of prisoners apart from what we've seen thus far on the TV show.

And if you've ever seen an episode of Breaking Bad, you can tell that guy looks like he's on something. And it's not hard to figure out that, being that he's a prisoner and being that he's in a zombie apocalypse, he won't be able to get his fix. lol

Man, the comic-centric/TV show thread is much more fun than you uptight clowns. :p

    turski7, I apologize. I misunderstood your post.

I've had several key plot points spoiled in this show, and I would think that having the separate thread would be enough to make people stop here. But KYSportsWriter and a few others have recent posted things about the comic book in this thread anyway. It pisses me off, and I don't plan on lightening up about it.

Versatile, I agree with your point. People should keep mentions of specifics from the comics on other threads.

That said, I wouldn''t worry too much if you do happen to see such "spoilers." Keep in mind that several key points played out differently on the show than they did in the comic. Hell, at least one major character in the show has never appeared in the comic. I won't mention who or the incidents in question out of respect for those who don't want the comic discussed here, but I bring it up as a reminder that hearing what happened in the comic does not always spoil what is going on in the show.

Fans of the TV show who've never read the graphic novels are going to run into casting news, producer and actor interviews, panels such as Comic-Con, TV commercials and trailers, previews for the next episode, etc. that provide some information.

I've never read the graphic novels, but I've learned some upcoming crossover aspects from just reading basic news stories about the show. It happens.

There's no way to be spoiler-free in the information age we live in. When you think of it, that's sort of ironic compared to the age the show/graphic novels characters live in.

Yeah, but I don't think it's too much to ask to not discuss the comics here when there is a different thread created exactly for that.

I'm not defending anyone discussing the comics.
