I did not, my friend. I said nothing that would have spoiled anything.

Do we need a separate no spoilers, no whining about spoilers thread?

Sorry to ruin it for you, but those of us who have read ahead in the comic know that the next commercial will be for a product to help a 98-pound weakling transform and kick the ass of a bully who throws sand in his face.

  6. OK .. so the Gov.'s group was able to ambush the military convoy?

    Bull.

    Shit.

Anyway .. curious to see who is trailing Rick's group.

BTW: As far as spoilers, I missed last week's episode, due to the Steelers game, and avoided this thread for a week until I got caught up.

Wait, are we allowed to talk about the Governor now?

Seriously, I had the same question about that scene.

The Governor said his team consisted of some folks with military experience. They had weapons, had the cover of surprise and the tactical advantage of knowing where the opposition was. Plus, they're likely better fed, better conditioned (Just based on observation of the episode, not on anything related to the thing that shall not be named).

I don't think it's much of a stretch to say they'd get the jump on these guys, especialy since the military guys were focused on the Governor.

Decent episode overall. Nice to see some character developing after two episodes of smash 'em up.

Not one military guy fired a shot. That's what I found far-fetched. You could have had the Governor do a barrel role or something to avoid getting hit.

I liked the episode a lot, though. Andrea was a strong character by last season's end, and Michonne is a bad motherfucker. But the Governor was a particularly strong presence. The actor was fantastic. He stole every scene, charming but guarded, hardened but gentle. They also made a great decision to ignore the prison for a week.

    Should be an interesting season.

Well, with baseball season done, time to move on in the meme world.

    Enjoyed this episode very much.

  12. A few more thoughts...

Is Andrea drugged? Is she drinking the Kool-Aid?
Notice how the Gov.'s scientist kept pushing the tea, and Michone didn't drink it? Andrea did.
I wonder if there is something in the water supply or tea to keep people complacent?

Maybe Andrea's just happy to be in a safe place, but she sure warmed up to the Gov. pretty quick.

    Also,
Did anyone else notice the cell block Rick's group and those two remaining prisoners opened?
The cells were open and the dead prisoners who were in them were handcuffed and had been shot in the head.
    They were executed.
    Why?
Why execute them? Why not leave them in their cells?
Why were they handcuffed? In their cells?
    Maybe it's nothing ... But I don't think so.
