So DI was wrong again? I guess that's close enough that it wasn't really WRONG.

    I'm still pissed.

If I'm pissed, shottie, I'm guessing you can guess. I don't want to ruin it.

    But you'll think they erred.

Jessica is the only one who can really sell any records, Stephen Tyler is already saying she will win

I would buy Joshua's music. I would not buy Phillips, or listen to it. I would listen to Sanchez on the radio, but would not pay for it.

I knew the minute Phillip Phillips finished his last song last night that he was in. It's was obvious. And, to me, "My all" pushed Jessica atop Joshua. I don't like it, I think of those three Phillip is probably the least likely to have a mega-superstar career but it's all about the vote here.

Joshua is amazing. He is, as Randy said last night, someone I could see bringing R&B back to mainstream acceptance. That guy is flat out talented and I've been on his bandwagon since group night but something last night just felt ... off.

Kudos to Idol for getting a very talented top three this season. It's funny because when they were showing the top-10 in the crowd, I had flat out forgotten about some of them and after thinking about it, save for Colton and maybe Elise, there's no one in that top-10 that I think would belong in this top-three talent-wise.

I'm pleased with the vote. Not thrilled but pleased. But if Phillip Phillip wins next week, that's going to be a real, real shame. Jessica is miles ahead of him both in terms of commercial viability and talent. That being said, Phillip was the clear winner this week and it wasn't even close after that final song so maybe he can go out and outslug Jessica for the crown but I have a feeling it's going to take one hell of an effort.

I'm still watching last night's now. But WTF is Randy smoking?

I just PMed this suggestion to shotty, but this is John Legend before he became "John Legend" and was performing as John Stephens. I own this live CD and it's amazing.

It's also how I envision Joshua.

Several other songs available. But this is my favorite.

To me, Jessica is very talented but a dime a dozen. Phillip and Joshua are different but fresh in their own ways. Considering past Idol winners (and non-winners), it's hard to say who is going to have the best career.

What I keep thinking about, though, is that Jessica was voted off weeks ago, before the judges used the save. I figured she'd be gone the following week, but she's ridden some pretty strong momentum into the final.

That being said, Cute White Guy With a Guitar wins for the fifth straight year.
