american idol -- 3/20 -- possible spoilers??

I'm definitely digging Haley. Bad singer. Very easy on the eyes. I'll be very disappointed when she's gone.

 

Easy. They don't release the numbers because it screws up the show if people know from week one that, for example, Melinda gets twice as many votes as any one else every single week. Releasing numbers kills the suspense.

After the game show scandals of the 50s the networks have put things in place to make sure producers don't cook the numbers. And besides, they would be absolutely insane to cheat and risk the future of the show that's paying the salaries for everyone connected to Fox.

 

Fuck anyone who uses it.

 

How does one do that as a fully developed adult?

 

Oh... by learning to sing and what you can actually do with the range of your voice, meebe?

 

I noticed last night one of the girls (Sabrina?) who had been voted off earlier in the audience. Are they keeping her around as a pinch-hitter in case Sanjaya pulls a Mike Hutchence?

That said... I noticed last night when Sligh was hugging all the other contestants at the end, when he got to LaKisha, it was like: Get the F away from me. There was something going on there.

I hope Sanjaya chokes on a goddamn hula skirt while he's blowing whoever he has to blow to stay on this show.

Even if the ratings are down 10 percent, here's some perspective for you NCAA hoops geeks who think March Madness is the be-all end-all to American society for a month: There are still apparently 22 more million people who'd rather tune in Sanjaya than NCAA basketball. Idol averaged 30 million this week, the NCAA has averaged 8.4 million a telecast, according to the Nielsen gurus. And that's down five percent as well.
