  2. As someone who very much likes contemporary Christian music, let me just say...
For Him is not worth getting kicked out ot ANYTHING. I'm not fan of Bob Jones, but damn, at least go to a decent concert so you have a good story to tell.

Best Idol-related billboard. In an East Coast city for a morning radio team...a picture of Sanjaya with mohawk and ...

    If he wins,
    we quit

    pretty cool

Outside of the usual suspects (Lakisha and Melinda) tough to say who was the best. I'm a diehard Jordin fan. Thought Blake was really solid, Chris was good too. Gina/Hayley stunk.

As for Sanjaya, like Simon said again, it doesn't matter what's said. He's a side show, can't sing a lick and will naturally sail through.

    Idol thoughts:

-- Blake's act is getting old. Personally, I think he sounds the same every week. And as a singer and singer only, he isn't much better than Sanjaya.

-- Haley's boobs were sublime tonight.

-- Melinda should be disqualified because she's already a professional.

-- I think Chris Richardson is really good, even if he is a Justin Timberlake rip-off.

-- I want Jordin Sparks to win.

-- Sanjaya was bad tonight even by his standards. This might be it for him.

I thought that Phil Rizzuto did a nice job advising the singers.

-- Last week, I would have agreed with you on Blake, but I thought he was pretty good tonight.
-- Sublime, sensational, super, stupendous on Haley.
-- Agree on Melinda. And she STILL acts surprised when the judges tell her how great she was. The fact she's a professional might cost her in this competition with a surprise exit in the Final 3.
-- Chris was solid. Realizes he's a Timberlake rip-off and looking to capitalize.
-- I, too, am rooting for Jordin.
-- Sanjaya was fingernails-on-the-chalkboard terrible tonight.

Someone give me a song list, so I know what to dread when I get home?

All Ms. Slappy would say is Tony Bennett...
And I think Gina sang "Smile" -- the Charlie Chaplin song.

Blake sang a really crappy version of Mac the Knife

Notice that no one bothered to take Tony Bennett's advice? Especially Lakisha who ignored his (very valid) suggestion that she should not add her own lyrics to the end of a classic song ('Stormy Weather'?).
