american idol -- 3/20 -- possible spoilers??

I hated Lakisha tonight, too. For the record.

 

Liked Blake's performance. The one guy who's always solid from week to week. Melinda showed why she was my favorite from Day 1. And I actually liked Chris' performance. Those were my top three tonight.

Bottom three for tomorrow? My guess is Phil (he's been there all but one week, hasn't he), Gina and Haley. Even though we all know Sanjaya is more than deserving of consideration. Love how the judges have given up for two straight weeks now. They know it's out of their hands.

 

I think Phil is likely gone ... kind of a so-so performance. Nothing would surprise me at this point, but I think Gina is in the bottom two later tonight. I think she survives though.

Melinda and Jordin are obviously safe, and I think they're ultimately headed for the final showdown barring an upset. I think Sanjaya makes it another week as does Haley thanks to her cleavage. I could see Sanjaya making it all the way to May before the votes solidify on the better contestants. LaKisha has a way of just flying under the radar, and I think she does that again this week, probably ending up in the middle of the pack with Chris Richardson and Blake.

 

Thoughts ...
Why does Haley think she's performing in a beauty pageant? She is ridiculous.
Gina and Melinda's outfits were both all wrong. Gina messed that song up.
I liked LaKisha's performance, but I voted for her because I'm also afraid she might get voted off.
Team Jordin!

 

i repeat: win or lose, jordin is on track to be the biggest starm bar none. i just don't see melinda having a niche in real life.she's a lounge act. helluva voice, no doubt. ut what is she gonna do? ??? ??? ???

 

I still think Melinda or LaKisha is bound for people thinking they sail right through and not voting, causing one of the two to be a bigger upset than Chris Daughtry being voted off was.

 

I think LaKisha isn't that much of an upset any more. I definitely think Daughtry was a bigger upset than her at any point from here on in.

 

If Haley goes home tonight, it proves that no straight men actually vote in this thing.

Sparks might outgrow any chance she has at being a true superstar. She's the one I want to see take it, and a super talent, but as big as she already is at 17, I wonder if her look isn't going to cost her eventually.

maybe i'm blinded by affection for jordin, but i contend that -- at 17 -- she'll be hooking up with a nutritionist/workout person, trim the baby fat, and be a star. 8)

 

I could see it happening. She's got plenty of time obviously.

 

If he can't sing a lick, then why did Simon pass him through to the live portion of this show several weeks ago to be voted/rejected by the fans? Has he shown no further improvement? Perhaps. But these people know who they want to win and who they won't love. What the hell was wrong with Haley Scarnato last night? Nothing, maybe her best show.

Having said all that, I do think the four best are Jordin, Melinda, Lakisha and Blake.
