I've been anti-Blake for the last 10 weeks, but I now think he will make the final 2.

He was better than Melinda tonight. Melinda will go home in a shocker.

I've been calling it for weeks now...Blake and Jordin in the finale, and I'm sticking with it. There's no doubt Melinda's a great singer, but I just think the other two are better performers and are definitely more marketable.

Melinda was far better than the other two. The three best performances of the night.

If Jordin learns how to dance, she could be a superstar.
When you're young, singing isn't enough these days.

Melinda should stay, but I have a feeling she'll go. By far the best vocal chops among the original 12. Blake could go tho; his rendition of Roxanne was quite shaky.

I never thought two of my three favorites from the start -- Melinda and Blake (Chris Sligh is the other one) -- would make the finals. Melinda, yes. Blake, no. But Blake deserves a spot in the finals with what he did tonight and with what Jordin didn't do. She didn't have the Yo Factor going tonight. Blake did.

Melinda sang circles around the other two tonight - if she doesn't win, Simon shouldn't call this thing a singing competetion anymore. Melinda is marketable. She can sing rock, blues, R&B, Broadway, standards. The other two are MUCH more limited in their appeal AND their shelf life. If I had to invest my own money, I'd put it on Melinda.

  9. I'm with you on supporting Blake from early on, but I completely disagree on Jordin. I thought she was really good tonight -- better than Blake.
Really, I think all three did pretty well tonight and I'll be happy with whichever one wins.
    Blake is going home.

I thought Melinda was the best last night and has the best overall talent.
But she does absolutely nothing for me. There's no Oooooh factor for me.
I think if she has a concert, fans will turn out by the dozens.

okay, "ai" vets: does it really matter much who wins now? or are each of the three still standing already certain to have whatever career is in store for them? ??? ??? ???

For Melinda, she needs to win...
