American Idol -- Final 4

Melinda needs to win if she's going to have a good career. I don't think that's the case for the other two...

I hate Blake, but he did well last night on the last two songs. While the producers picked horrible songs for Melinda and Jordin, they picked a perfect one for Blake and that may carry him into the final.

I hope Blake goes home tonight, but I think it will be Melinda.

 

Just don't see why Melinda would ever go home tonight, or why she needs to win to have a good career in the business. She's been the best from start to finish, she can sing any style she wants in key and with conviction. If she loses, she's the next Jennifer Hudson -- good enough to win but didn't because America made a mistake.

p.s. If the Southern rule holds up, Melinda will be in the finals against someone from Pac-10 country.

Over the previous five seasons of "American Idol," a distinct pattern has emerged about Top 3 Night: whoever sings first gets eliminated. Every single time. Nikki McKibbin, Kimberley Locke, Jasmine Trias, Vonzell Solomon and Elliott Yamin all went first on this night, and all went home.

This guy Blake is just the worst dresser ever. Yuck. I can't look at him.

I wish Melinda did not look like Francine from Arthur.

 

And if Paula gets any more collagen injected in that upper lip, she's going to end up as a Macy's parade float.

 

This trip down memory lane is just fascinating, so much so that I stopped watching several minutes ago. But I have to say that song in the background, Comin' Home, is awesome.

man, the producers of this show simply hate the viewers, eh? these wednesday shows are torturous.

i'm so glad to be one-year and done with this crap. i hate myself for letting me get sucked in this year. never again.

 

The results shows should be 30 minutes.
