    That's St. Bubbler, dammit.

First, this just proves that teeny-boppers dictate the phone lines. I can imagine that high school of Jordin's had a shitload of a phone bank set up after her visit if not before.

Don't feel for Melinda. Two of the most succesful idols ever - Chris Doughtry, Jennifer Hutson and Clay Aiken - never won the damn thing.

Phillippi Sparks must have a connection with FOX mob bosses. He looked like some of those Russians with Gorbachev when the crowd turned on Ivan Drago vs. Rocky when Seacrest pulled that shit about booting her on game day.

Speaking of Seashit, someone needs to yank about half an hour off these decision night shows. That's some of the clumsiest setups on television.

You still think this is actually based on the fan voting? HA!
    Come on now dooley :D

  4. Yawn, I kinda like you when you're posting as a real person and not as the guy who starts divisive threads just to get your rocks off. But don't tell anyone I said that.

Howard Stern says it's fixed and claims to have evidence.

Well, if there were evidence, someone would have blown the lid off in a career-making expose. Absent that, I feel it's legit as hell. Not always intuitive, true, but legit.

Then why not release the vote counts?

WB, pissing liberals off and watching overhyped TV shows are both products of a person with a life.

  9. Yes. It's all very suspicious. You figure they're following some standard just for the sake of not getting sued for fraud, but then again it doesn't seem to be very scientific.

Because it's not a federal election, so they don't have to. I'm sure if they were ever investigated, they'd have the numbers handy. If you think it's a fraud, don't watch. There's no evidence of it; any of the possible permutations from last night's show would have made someone cry "fix." Again, bullshit without the evidence. And anyway, I recall from Season 1 announcing that Clarkson beat Guarini 57-43%.

And the best evidence that it's legit: Any fixing scenario would have had McPhee winning over Hicks, because McPhee would be more marketable. Didn't happen, and Hicks has had a verrry slow start to his career.

  11. Keep telling yourself that.

Ain't that the truth. Check out some of the venues Hicks is playing on his tour. Yeeesh.
