I may like Melinda better than LaKisha.

That being said, am I the only one noticing this weird trend this season of people getting into their songs, then suddenly breaking into some weird drawn out final note? LaKisha did it, dragging out "Georgia" out of nowhere, Melinda just did it, Jared did it on his version of "Back at One" last week...it's this weird "I'm singing the chorus, then I'm just going to hit some bridge and then hold a long note with no relation to the song I've just sung."

I thought that the dedication was going to show her shining Vicenzo's knob.....

    What a great dresser.

Oh my god, she's terrible. She has ZERO depth to her voice.

I feel like I'm at a bar watching a karaoke performance.. not to sound like Simon or anything. But she can hit that high note. Damn.

    Wow... what a great moment.

You get the feeling Simon has wanted desperately to address the Hudson issue.

The "you" portion of it was fine. When she went high on the "be" part of because, it sounded wobbly and terrible. Very weird.

I didn't think it sounded wobbly. I thought the rest of the performance sounded wobbly and shallow, but that note was on. Now, the vote was shallow, yes. She would have really blown me away if she had any kind of big voice, but the pitch was there.

The beginning of this performance sounded nervous and shaky, but 10 seconds in, she pulled it out.

I really like this girl. I think she's pretty and different enough to be able to win. I'm sure the judges will disagree with me, though.
