I was a fan of Savol. I think I singlehandedly kept him in the competition. :-[

    Let me be clear.

Savol was at least 100 times better than this weird little dude that has made the finals. But a top-five finish was extremely too high.

And by the way, while the Sanjaya kid is a little weird, the bald guy really freaks me out. I think it's that his eyes are too big for his head.

I'm partial to Lakisha. I think she is very marketable. However of late, Doolittle has taken the lead. She may be the one to beat on the girls side.
That Sonjay guy is living on borrowed time. If he wins, this show should be canned. Like Paula the whore said, it's a singing contest. The guys are a toss up but the strongest voice is the bald guy. I look for the kid from Virginia who thinks he's Justin Timberlake to go far. He's a darkhorse to win.

I'm with you on the women, bootsie. Doolittle's the pro -- Lakisha's the raw, effortless talent. Both very, very good.

On the men's side, I'm still feelin' Blake Lewis. Bald guy doesn't do it for me.

As long as Doolittle and Lakisha are the last two left, I'll be happy. It dosn't really matter who wins. Once you're in the top 2, you're set.

Please explain to me how Lakisha is marketable? I don\'t see her as marketable at all. I can see Blake or Chris Sligh being marketable. I can see Melinda Doolittle being marketable. I can even see Gina as marketable, but I don\'t see Lakisha as marketable at all. I don\'t see any personality on the stage when the judges are talking to her. Isn\'t she a single mom? I\'m not saying this SHOULD make a difference. I\'m just saying, from a marketing stand point, it would still be hard to market a single mom who dresses a little too skimpy sometimes for her body type (but I\'m impressed that she\'s that comfortable with herself). I also don\'t find her face that attractive.

But hey, maybe it\'s just me. I\'m not trying to start an argument. I just want to know why Boots finds her so marketable.

  9. I thought he looked more like Gollum from Lord of the Rings. Maybe if Dobby and Gollum had a kid, it'd be Phil.

yeah, overweight single black mothers have no market ability...

Not good enough. She hasn't shown herself to have any real redeeming personality, beyond being humble. She's got a good voice, but she'll lose to Doolittle because Doolittle is so damned likeable.

Lakisha will be just like Fantasia and Studdard. Solid little R&B-focused career but nothing Earth-shaking.
