i've agreed with simon all night. none of the boys can sing a lick.

and i've been ready for nearly two hours. you go, girl friend!

The judges get on my nerves when they bitch about song choice, then when Chris S. and Blake try to do something different about it, they bitch. I wonder if they're simply trying to preserve the integrity/suck up to the weekly host.
I got the feeling when Simon saw Haley (the girl he couldn't remember last week) he thought "cleavage. check. average voice. check. Pouty lips. check. Great, I've found this year's McPhee (aka, pretty, talentless white girl).

 

All the guys basically sucked although I didn't think Blake was as bad as the judges thought. As previously noted, all they bitch about is the folks not making a son their own and giving it a twist. Was Blake great? No. But his effort and guts should be noted.

As for the two Chrises. Dreadful. Phil will survive a few more weeks. Sanjaya continues to be a trainwreck but he's become a must watch.

On the girls side, I'm glad the judges have awakened to Jordin. I think what gets people to vote is seeing improvement from month 1 to month 3 to month 4. She's coming into her own and she's more attractive than Melinda or LaKisha. I think Jordin makes the final 4. Props to Haley for a semi bounce back. Plus, she looked terrific.

Jordin was pretty good but it is soooooo clear that there are only 2 people that could win...Lakisha or Melinda. All of the guys are terrible. Chris Sleigh is not nearly as good as he thinks he is. Phil has on so much make up he is starting to look like Powder. Sanjaya is one step away from a full on sex change.
