I suggest tose with XM radio listen to some of the XL comedy stations. You catch lots of good comedians, which is where I first heard Amy Schumer and over a year before I actually saw her do a performance on TV.

Hedberg was funny, but limited. He's like Steven Wright and Charles Fleisher

We were on the subject of comedians one finds unfunny. Just a tangential comment. OK by you, Mills Lane?

I saw George Carlin once, 20 years ago. Even back then, they printed right on the ticket that you shouldn't attend if you're easily offended.

OTOH, Michael Richards claimed he was "joking" when he went off on those black hecklers. It can be a thin line sometimes, and if you do "edgy" humor wrong, you just come off looking like an ass.

We should all have the right to deny people from hearing stuff we don't like.

They should probably be proactive about it and just ban comedy clubs and all comedy on television, movies, and radio.

"Just change the channel" is so 20th century.

White rednecks from the inner-mountain regions of the Southeast are still fair game. Even females from there can be made fun of, as long as you have them beating their kids at Walmart.

Did the author choose to write about those jokes because they didn't kill?

It was the nature of the jokes, not how they landed that drew attention to them.

Has smallpotatoes determined whether or not Richards should have been institutionalized for his actions?
