    That's a good point, Cadet.

    Of course, here's another one:

According to some on here, true Catholics must follow all church dogma, and, as such, not use birth control, ever. Otherwise, they're not Catholic. then we'd see a lot more of this.

I certainly have an ethical objection to that.

Well, this isn't an inner-city crack mother, and her family apparently isn't a drain on the state. Therefore, apples and oranges.

China is not a civilized country, despite what our own governments would like us to believe.

I'm not the problem but I do have a solution. END THE DOUBLE STANDARDS. I crack a joke and people jump on me. Others crack a joke and its happy days are here again. ENOUGH IS ENOUGH.

This has to be like the fourth thread I've read this week that starts decent then turns into a rip-boots thread followed by boots getting pissed off and ripping people back.
If you want to rip boots start a thread and let the rest of us discuss the topic.
Not that my opinion means anything until I make 4,000 more posts about what Jason Whitlock's ass tastes like compared to Scoop's.

I disagree about your characterization of events, but the thread has been back on track for a while now.

Feel free to contribute to the discussion.

Well, maybe it has been. But still this isn't the first thread where I've seen that happen.

But as far as the original topic goes..
You gotta think that the people around this family hate their guts.
How do you think they go grocery shopping? do they take all the kids?
What about going to a movie theater?
One or two screaming kids can ruin a movie, imagine 6 all sitting together!
So yes, it is their right to have as many kids as they want, it's sure to create logical problems in everyday life.

Honestly, I think they go to a lot more tent revivals than movies.

Might have taken up a row at the multiplex when the Passion was playing, but I think that's about it.

My question is how can these kids get enough attention from their parents. Granted, I'll stipulate that a lot of only children probably get too much. But do you think there's time for many tender moments with Mom? Dad?

The guy told the truth and you know it Zeke. Be honest for once. I'm not going to threadjack here. I just wanted to thank someone else who noticed the trend.
