One tiny note: Van Slyke was the Tigers' first-base coach from 2006-2009 until he left to pursue "other opportunities," which was almost certainly a nice way to say he was thrown out of on his ass for writing an unauthorized tell-all book about the Tigers' disastrous 2008 season.

As soon as someone starts in with the "You'll say that was his fault, too" replies, I know they're out of ammo.

It was a good try, but you had little to being with. You just have a trickle and a shriveled member now.

In other words, I caught you and you know it. Thanks for playing. Have a nice night.

On what? That you didn't really have a Saigon Kick poster? I'm still not sure what you accomplished with this. I said it maybe wasn't Leyland's fault, and you went Erin Brockovich.

Do you have signed affidavits from this alleged group who all knew Drabek was spent (yet somehow able to coax a grounder to Lind)? I still think you're pulling that part out of your bee-hind.

It wasn't funny then, either. I'm not sure if it was funny in 1992.

Bitch fights between socially maladjusted self-loathers were funny then and now.
Sorry I didn't catch that, dools. I bet it was a humdinger.

That's entertaining. I wouldn't put you high on the list of "in balance" people, though. In fact, you are probably with oops and dooley in the "tiny pecker compensation" club.

And another proclaimed member of the "compensation" crowd. You might be able to squeeze into that seat next to oops.

Hey, it's not my fault you don't know what you are looking at when you watch baseball.

And to make it clear, I caught you on your ridiculous point about placing blame. You insist there is something wrong with it, yet you did exactly that in placing blame on Lind when it suited you.

I actually had to look up Saigon Kick. Still doesn't ring a bell. But hey, whatever music makes you happy.
