    Sirs, Madames,

The Bank Dick and Never Give a Sucker an Even Break deserve mention. As for the Marx Brothers, I can never get enough of Horse Feathers. (Prof Quicy Adams Wagstaff + sports content.) The (original) Ladykillers maybe. Other Brit con: The Mouse That Roared. Dr Strangelove as black comedy. Unless I missed it, nobody mentioned Uncle Buck. One one-jock comedy that kills me is The Money Pit. A Fish Called Wanda would be in the mix. Caddyshack, natch. No. 1 ... Stripes, always reduces me to tears. Sean Young, where did you go?

And though I liked Anmal House, it wouldn't be in my top ten. And Belushi would be dead last in my favorite original SNL stakes race if not for Chevy Chase.

IMO, Animal House is hilarious; never gets old. Having said that, the Judd Apatow and crew (Rogen, Segel, Hill, Hader) flicks are up there. The other day I watched the entire (and only) season of Undeclared. Sigh, the memories...ha

I've gauged enough reactions to know that homeowners who's endured similar frustrations appreciate it far more than others might . . .

Actually I think there was some question as to whether Doug Kenney's death was a suicide. The theory was he might have fallen accidentally off those rocks in Hawaii.

"Well what the hell we s'posed to do, ya moron???"

  8. I felt the same way about "Duplex," the underrated Ben Stiller-Drew Barrymore picture that was probably a little too dark for the mainstream (much like "Death to Smoochy," also very underrated)

    Sirs, Madames,

Re an earlier post about Sean Young.

Some might think of her career as a train wreck. Not far off.

You couldn't write it as fiction.
