Another Cold, Hard Look at the Pillaging of Newspapers

    I am pretty sure Albuquerque is gone and there is only one paper.

    How much longer will it be before adjoining papers start to merge. Printing seems to have largely already been combined. I went through Greensboro last year the Monday before Memorial Day. I counted three bylined, local pieces in the paper that day. I would think it would be a lot cheaper to combine with Winston-Salem and print zoned editions. But it does not seem to be happening that much around the country.
