It's like the motion you make when you sing "Roll the Gospel Chariot Along," a little ditty from my childhood church files.

 

I always call it the rhumba when hockey refs call charging (same motion). No, I don't actually have a point.

How come there are no penalties or fouls that require officials to use the gestures from 'The Inky Dinky Spider' or 'I'm a Little Tea Pot'?

 

I always thought it looked like the backup singers as Ike and Tina sang "Rollin' on the River," but I'm a pretty weird guy.
