Another ESPN scoop

He couldn't find any Michigan State clothing in which to fabricate spin a larger-than-life tale column.

I read that whole story on ESPN and never quite found the facts that it was referring to when it said that Webber had told ESPN that he was going to Detroit.


He told the AP. His agent talked about the possibility of going to Detroit with the Detroit News and Webber talked about playing with the Lakers to the L.A. Times.

It just seems odd that ESPN is in the lede but not mentioned in the body.
