    As others have said, Gary is a really, really nice guy. While I am not sure columnist was a perfect fit for him he is a great sportswriter and he has done wonderful work. I linked his outstanding series on the making of Erin Hills last year. If I remember correctly it was met with some "thanks for joining us Gary" bullshit. It is long but an outstanding piece of work in my opinion.
