    Let's not sidetrack this one with stupid pictures. If these moves happen, they are serious signals as to the way the business is headed.
    Just heard from ANOTHER quarter being chatted up by our friends at ESPN.

    The news biz will have more action than baseball, though the money won't be quite as good.

    I'm guessing (hoping) this will lead to major domino effects, though I guess it could lead to major hiring freezes instead.

    OK.

    GUESS - be clear on that - GUESS: Between now and 1/1/08, there will be at least a dozen significant moves. Wow type moves.

    FACT - Our buds at ESPN are talking to at least five names of note right now (and surely a lot more that haven't made their way down The Pipeline - but they will). All five are well known here (that does not mean they are members) and well respected in this business.
