I would say that, no, I'd like to think she wouldn't have done this with any other students, and no, not every 17-year-old would have been able to deal with it. I like to think the two are intertwined, I guess. The reason it happened is because I was able to deal with it without freaking out. But you're right, obviously I don't know for sure. I guess I always looked at it (or justified it, maybe) by pointing to the fact that it that happens all the time in literature. The older woman ushers the younger guy into manhood. And I know I'm a hypocrite by saying that it does seem different when the genders are reversed. It seems more predatory. But my situation is what it is, I guess.

She's more cute than hot. That said well done teenagers. All I ever had for teachers were old dudes and dried up scags. Consider me jealous.
