He's made us all proud. ;D

In fact, I'd be happy with the girls he's blown off. I knew too many of those kind of guys in high school.

    SPOILERS!!!!

Even though the Tyra thing was fairly predictable once she sat down, it was still nervewracking. very shocking.

Also, why wasn't the Lyla-bashing-the-cars-in from last week addressed?

I'm going to miss the show when it's done, for sure.

Aannnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnd while shockey still asserts it's all too real, I still don't buy coach passing on the job because of Julie. Coach pays the bills, Julie moves whereever the heck coach does. It ain't hard.

And no, shockey, you won't convince me otherwise.

I was wondering about the cars too.

And I agree, could see the Tyra thing coming a mile away but still had me on the edge of my seat.

Tried watching again last night after the cook TV reviewer (whose opinion is worth about a plug nickel) said that FNL was just "too smart" for the American viewing public. Saw that the team was playing a playoff game in a cow pasture. Wasn't very impressed. Though I did like the scenes with the kid in the wheelchair.

My problem is that this high school football genre has been done over and over again in the last 10 years. I really fail to see what this show is doing differently, though admittedly I've only seen three or four episodes.

If you don't see a difference between this show and, say, Varsity Blues, you need to watch it more.

Interesting that Brooke Langton attended high school in Euless, Texas.

Is it set in stone that Coach gets the college job? I figured that Dillon would lose State and the other team's coach would get the college job because he can bring Vodoo with him. Remember Vodoo, the QB with attitude from New Orleans.
Coach will come back to Dillon, otherwise there's no show next year. Just about all the main characters ssem to be juniors. Street becomes QB coach for Saracin's senior year. Riggins blows out his knee during freshman practice at whatever college he was going to and comes back to Dillon to become a country western stereotype, drunk and fucking all the hot women in town.

BTW: Riggins nailing MILF,Tyra and Lyla in the same semester is the Triple Crown of fucking. Riggins is HOF.

Is the coach's wife next? Or maybe a three-way with Lila AND the coach's wife?

heyabbott, that's not a bad theory, especially since voodoo will be back next week.

He's going to play defense, too, and kick Saracen's girly behind all over that cow pasture.

I thought Saracen was only a sophomore?

Saracen and Coach's daughter are both sophomores.
