Just a note that the website has Terry's name spelled wrong. Vandrovec. No respect for the Sioux Fallsinians.

Many, many names are misspelled. Newspaper name styles are wrong almost to the point of uniformity.

Yeah, they've been going Patriot News almost every mention (it's Patriot-News).

And, although we're technically working out of Mechanicsburg now, it feels totally, absolutely weird to see that listed rather than Harrisburg.

I think I saw Don Coble of Jacksonville listed as Dan Coble in the listings.

They misspelled Gregg Doyel's name. No one is safe here.

I'm letting them enjoy the day. I love the choices. But I'm also not the person who said they were "surprised" or "wouldn't comment on" the list of winners.

Balthier, these are people I know in a job I used to do. That's why I'm not commenting. I don't think it would be, for want of a better word, seemly.

Hey, let's face it, it wouldn't be the APSE Awards thread if we didn't have this specific detour at some point.

I've been on Fennelly's bandwagon a long time. Don't have any ties to Cincy, but I read Doc regularly. Shelton and Romano compete at higher level, but it's interesting that both Trib guys won and neither Times guy did. I'd go Fennelly-Shelton-Henderson-Romano.

APSE is going all FCS/FBS on us with its new Grand Slam, revised Triple Crown designations.
Triple Crown now is 3 out of 4? If APSE ran MLB, Kemp and Pujols would have won the Triple Crown in 2011 and 2010 for leading the league in HRs, RBI and runs.
