I hear some behind the scenes deals were being made in the section voting.

Anybody else really disappointed not to have more results so far?
    We were spoiled last year.

No, I'm not disappointed at all, because...

    1. They really seem to be short-handed this year, and deserve our patience.

    2. We should have everything by tomorrow night. 24 hours is not in any way too long to wait

So it really is a commentary on the state of the business . . . .

I know it's nice to have the judging in a warmer-weather spot, but it seems to me that if fewer and fewer newspapers are going to have the resources to send people to judging sessions, then the judging sessions should be rotated between areas with the highest concentrations of newspapers within, say, a 3-4 hour drive.

If you held judging in the Northeast, anywhere from, say, Virginia to New Jersey, I can't believe it would be that hard to get a whole flock of judges to drive to the event. It's not as sexy, but it's damn practical.

Apparently you've never been online during a game in the same time zone as him.

It didn't above 60 today and has been raining off and one since early this morning.

Hey, everyone, let me explain why there is some delay over the past few days. The person who handles the website is actually one of the judges this year. So that's why it's a little harder to update throughout the day. Yes, we're a little behind. Yes, it's a little cold and windy. Yes, I'm wearing a hoodie jacket, but I don't wear the hood part of it.

So I'm going to start posting some stuff. It might be duplicated later. It might have a typo or two. Just send me a note if we've misspelled something. Thanks.
