Nice work on the daily award, Tacoma.

Does anyone remember what dates were to be submitted?

Isn't the AP style for Wyoming Wyo. not Wyom.?

Didn't they have that problem earlier? Those judges must be getting tired...

That's three years in a row now Robinett has won at least one APSE.. won three of em two years ago and I think two last year.. now one so far this year. Even with times being so tough.. that's gotta be nice padding for the resume. A lot of people win one in a long career... six (at least) in three years?

this doesn't fully answer your question, but I recall Super Bowl Sunday being one of them and the Sunday after the Wimbledon women's final being one of them.

That's for the Sundays, not the dailies, yes? Were the daily dates picked by each staff or by APSE?

Oh yeah, I thought you were just asking for any of the mandatory dates. Those were the two mandatories (I believe) for Sunday and then you'd submit two more of your own choosing. Same with the daily sections. Two and two.

Thanks, I can say I was happy to have a part in the Missourian sections, but the heavy lifting for the past year was done by Kevin Winters Morris and the gang. I did most of my toiling on the Internets with BLOGS!
We've been close before, and I'm glad the under-20 division recognizes some of those papers that do good work, regardless of how it would have turned out for us. I hope more papers under 20,000 take the opportunity to participate in the future.

The two mandatory dates for dailies were March 6 and Nov. 28.

  10. I can't keep track of what's been up here already and what's not, but I know there are a few categories in particular in this new batch that weren't before. Sorry for repeats.

Congratulations to all who had their work recognized.

I'm in shock over the LA Daily News, for multiple reasons.

Good to see my old pals at the Palm Beach Post have another triple crown despite a tough year.
