Arena Football League in trouble

The upside is, there won't be an af3 franchise in my backyard anytime soon.

 

So after Bon Jovi's team won the title, the league is Living On A Prayer?

Well it sounds like they're halfway there ...

 

They'll make it, I swear!!

There's no limit to the existence of professional sports in this country. Over the weekend, I saw the New Jersey Rockhoppers of the Eastern Professional Hockey League. It isn't hard to find investors; one of the players owned the team.

 

Keep the faith.

Someone will come along and lay the league down on a bed of roses.

It's the AFL's life, it's now or never. It ain't gonna live forever.

Never say goodbye.

(I can go all night. Huh. First time in my life I've ever said that.)

 

Until the recent downturn, AFL franchises were becoming very valuable. A franchise that was, maybe $250,000 in the late 90s was worth several million a couple of years ago.

Maybe, in spite of the downturn, the AFL can use a new motto: "I'll be there for you!"

 

Perhaps too many owners have been Living in Sin.

 

That's because AFL fans are wanted, dead or alive.

 

Feeling like a Monday, but someday the AFL will be Saturday night.
