    nope -- 'cause people here have been to knoxville -- i'll take any place in the league (well, with the obvious selection of starkville) over knoxville

    Hell, I'm the biggest Carolina fan on this board, but I'd still rank Knoxville over Columbia. Columbia blows.

    Agree 100 percent, if for no other reason than Columbia totally sucks ass and Preservation Pub is a great bar in Knoxville.

    Columbia's cool down at Five Points, but even then, the atmosphere just isn't that great. In Knoxville, you can hang out by the river after a game and have a pretty good time.

    Dude, there's no way the jean shorts capital of America is better than Knoxville.

    Smaller markets
    1. Athens
    2. Oxford
    3. Fayetteville
    4. Tuscaloosa
    5. Gainesville
    6. Auburn

    That's probably the order I would put them in, though I might flip-flop Tuscaloosa and Fayetteville. I like Nashville more every time I visit, which is now about once a month.
