Ever think you'd be glad if a hurricane hit?

There has to be a way to blame Vick on this, right?
Maybe he can revolutionize water conservation in time to save the city.

After Ivan dropped a tree through my house I never thought I would, but now I wish one would bring some water to the area. The only problem is, the reason the tree fell when the remnants of Ivan came through was because a drought had damaged the roots and all the water loosened the ground too much and it couldn't hold on with the bad roots. Still, despite my fears of a repeat, we need the rain of several hurricanes.

    I've thought about that too...

Does every lawn in Atlanta have to be dead right now? I share the outrage, but that was a horsesh*t story. It was noted very late in the piece that there is no proof the guy is doing anything wrong. Being a water pig isn't a crime (yet). And having grown up in Atlanta and familiar with many of the McMansion-filled suburbs, I'm going to guess that there are many more people out there still using more water than they should.
