Wait. The naked? I wouldn't be among others in the nude, would I?

See, this is why it intimidates me. I have no idea what to expect.

In the sauna or the steam room, maybe.

Nobody wants to see my fat ass naked. ;D I'd wear my terrycloth thing that's cut kind of like a mini sun dress.

I was not so down with the naked. But really, you don't have to be naked in public. They should keep you pretty well draped for a massage or whatever you're having.

Covering up, if you're uncomfortable, is perfectly all right, KG.

Yeah, in the public wet areas... but, like I said, it's your choice. Take a swimsuit.

It also depends on the spa. A day spa I go to doesn't have a sauna or steam room. You go into and out of the treatment room fully dressed.

Yes, each place is different, but in places with indoor/outdoor public wet areas, usually the only place you're allowed to be naked is in the same-sex areas. And it's no big deal if you option to have a swimsuit or towel on.

As far as getting a treatment like a massage, you get undressed and on the table, under the covers, with the therapist out of the room. They'll come back in, do one side of you, then hold the sheet up at an angle so you can turn over. Just turn in the direction away from the sheet and nobody will see your bits.

OK, ladies, question: Can perfume go bad?

I have a bottle that I've had about four years. I put some on for the first time in a few weeks and it smelled like ... nothing. I smelled where I spritzed about an hour later and ... nothing.

Can perfume lose its scent or am I having sinus issues?

Could be, especially if it wasn't tightly capped. The various components would evaporate at different rates, though, intuitively, it seems like the essential oils would be the last to go.

Damn, do you have a chemistry degree? :) Impressive.

Very possible the capping is an issue ... had to sort of pry open the big bottle a while back to decant into an atomizer for travel.

I read somewhere once that perfume goes bad after a year, unless you keep in the refridgerator, which will keep it good for an extra six months or so.

I have no idea if that's true or not.
